Do you want to be part of the Personal Training Community? If you have thought of considering this job, becoming a personal trainer may be both rewarding and successful. This depends on how you make the most of your time and resources. During the course of the trainer job, you will learn from the experience of other personal trainers, have them ask what the average salary of a personal trainer is, and eventually consider launching your own business.

The average salary of a personal trainer really depends on various industries, locations, geographic regions, trainings, certifications you may have incurred, whether you own a gym or a club or a corporation, your experience as a personal trainer, if you possess a college degree and the like. With these factors, one needs a lot of data to consolidate to get a conclusion on the average salary of a personal trainer. We can always make some generalities though. One very most important aspect in determining the is the country. For countries like the United States, Europe or Canada, you are in the major spot for personal training. This is not a surprise since this will come as a luxury item. In short, people living in these countries will tend to worry more on what to eat or feed themselves first before worrying how they would look like in the mirror. They are in the fast-paced economy where physical training may be of less importance. If you are a personal trainer in a less developed country, chances are, you will earn less unless you work with rich customers. Aside from economic conditions, region by country may also affect the average salary of a person trainer. This all depends on how you make the most of your resources, or catching some wealthy customers.

Cutting off generalities, surveys from the US say that the average salary of a person trainer is $60,000 per year. This would even grow higher if you have your own personal training business. Benefits are higher if you work on your own of if you have your own business like this than working for a company of a fitness firm. You may even raise your rate if you have gained much experience in the business. If you think you are good, that you have the qualifications, you can charge more.

Valuing customers too may increase the average salary of a personal trainer. It’s how you sell yourself – by experience and by practice. If they see you’re good, they will be willing to pay much for your services.

By: Ian Pennington

Before choosing a particular country, you need to make up your mind about whether you really want to give up your current job and take one in a country you are unsure about. This could be an intimidating task, since taking a job in a foreign country does not only mean relocating, but also making new friends and developing new business relationships.

Selecting A Job Recruitment Agency And The Country

In addition to choosing the country, you should cross check the authenticity of the position. There are certain job sites that dupe people into applying for overseas jobs. There are Internet sites springing up that ask for a certain amount of money, under the guise of recruitment and relocation charges. You can verify if a company is genuine by checking with the U.S Federal Commission. Over the past few years, a number of fraudulent companies have been exposed. The ‘work from home’ classifieds featured on websites and local newspapers are among these.

There are certain criteria you need to consider before short-listing a country that you want to work in:

Language Fluency: Most overseas companies emphasize language efficiency in the local language. In spite of being an alien to the country, if you can converse fluently in the local language, it definitely increases your chances of getting the job. This simplifies business transactions considerably.

Local Recruiters: Working with a local recruiter who knows the area well could help to ensure that you have the required skills.

Choose A Job-Centric Country: Some countries have demand for a certain jobs. For instance England, Russia, Germany and Spain have a demand for candidates with international banking expertise and technological backgrounds.

When you select a country, you should consider:

o The Expiration Date Of Your Passport: You wouldn’t want to be stuck in your own country after signing on the dotted line due to an invalid passport.

o Verify Documents: You need to maintain and secure all the required papers and you need to find out how long it will take to acquire them if you don’t have them already

o Clarify All Doubts: Inquire about any work permits needed in the country you are considering. Some countries have different requirements for foreigners.

o Immunizations: You might need to be immunized, before going to another country.

o Language: Identify the local languages of the country.

o Sponsorship: When you are working with the company, verify whether the company would sponsor your visits back home.

o Culture And Customs Of The Country: These affect the living conditions of the employee. Some countries have legal clauses about allowing the admission of people of certain religions. Besides, some countries sadly still allow racial discrimination, meaning they may not hire you even if you fit the bill.

By: Tony Jacowski

Positioned at the top of the resume, usually instead of the objective statement (though you can have both at the same time), the summary statement is your small bio or sound-bite and gives the reader a quick and accurate understanding of you and what you can do for them. Being at the top of the resume, the summary statement is likely to be one of the first things the reader will see.

When you construct a summary statement your aim is to provide a short accurate description of yourself and could include some of your skills, experience, areas of expertise, achievements and traits or characteristics.

Even though there is a lot of information that can be included in the summary statement, the most effective ones are very selective in their content, and are focused on the needs of the position.

How to construct a summary statement.

The summary statement needs to convey some very key information in as brief a manner as possible. About three sentences highlighting your strongest attributes focused on the needs of the job. Each sentence can be constructed in a variety of ways. Below are examples of sentences and how each is constructed, you can write as many statements as you like and then choose which ones to include.

Start with:

Who you are and what you can achieve, for example:

Highly competent results oriented project manager experienced at completing large projects within time and budget.

or

Who you are and where you have worked, for example:

Project Manager with 15 years of experience in Education administration with Universities, colleges and further education.

or

Who you are and what you do, For example:

Experienced retail manager, with a passion and successful track record in taking empty retail premises through to opening and establishing a regular loyal customer base.

Then add:

Some of your major knowledge and experiences, for example:

Extensive business process knowledge, technical experience and track record of sustaining HR and Financial systems and applications

or

Some of your people skills, for example:

Utilizes leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to build teams that meet/exceed goals.

or

Some of your technical skills, for example:

Demonstrated skills in formulating business requirements and supporting project documentation, successfully managing project scope, stakeholders, risks and issues.

End with:

Some of your technical skills, for example:

Proficient in MS Office, Internet research, Adobe Photoshop, MAC, and PC.

or

Some of your qualifications, for example:

Master of Business Administration, BA Business and finance, CPA,

Complete summary statement examples:

Project Manager with 15 years of experience in Education administration with Universities, colleges and further education. Extensive business process knowledge, technical experience and track record of sustaining HR and Financial systems and applications. Utilizes leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to build teams that meet/exceed goals. PMP Certified.

or

Highly competent results oriented project manager experienced at completing large projects on time and budget. Demonstrated skills in formulating business requirements and supporting project documentation, successfully managing project scope, stakeholders, risks and issues.

In conclusion, focus on demonstrating in the summary statement that you are the right person for the job and your competency stands out from the crowd

By: Barry Simpson

There are plenty of house cleaning jobs out there that people have available. If you are a hard worker and efficient you may be able to get one of them. Keep in mind that there are certain needs that people and businesses have when it comes to such work. You may have your own methods but that won’t be enough to keep them happy.

Being flexible when it comes to scheduling and to the types of cleaning you offer will help you to secure house cleaning jobs. If you can show that you are reliable and that you do great work people will continue to use your services. There will be times when you are asked to take care of cleaning jobs that you don’t like to do. Your attitude about this though will influence their decision.

You can work on your own and build up a solid reputation. You can also work for a house cleaning company. This may be the way to go in order to get plenty of experience behind you. Then you can always start up your own business later on when you feel you have the right skills. There is much more to house cleaning than most people realize. Effective communication is going to be a huge part of the success of it.

This isn’t the type of job for everyone out there to be involved with. If you don’t like to do your own housework how are you going to get through a day of doing it for other people? It is going to be torture and it won’t be worth the money you make doing it. If you don’t mind that type of work though it can be a great opportunity. You can work part time or full time cleaning and make some decent money in the process.

The amount of money you can make with house cleaning jobs depends on who you work for and the amount of work you have scheduled. Offering competitive rates is very important. If you work for yourself, you do need to take overhead expenses into consideration. This includes driving time, gas money, and the supplies you use to get the work done. If you do excellent work though you should have no trouble justifying a higher price and your customers will pay it.

If you do need someone to do such work for you, there are always people looking for house cleaning jobs. Take your time to explore the different offers that are out there. You can contact house cleaning companies in your area and even look in the services area of the local newspaper. You can even consider running your own ad that other people can respond to.

When it comes to house cleaning jobs, it is important to carefully determine what you want to get out of. The person you hire can’t read your mind and they won’t be able to get the work done to your specifications if they aren’t aware of what all has to be done.

By: Alpine Laurel

Wal-Mart is one of the biggest employers in the U.S. If you are considering a job with Wal-Mart, then you will need to fill out an application online. While there are a number of websites out there telling you that you that the Wal-Mart online job application is a myth, it really does exist, and you need to know how to fill it out correctly.

You need to begin by going to the Wal-Mart Career website, so you will need access to a a computer. It is okay if you do not have a computer, as you can fill out the application from your local library or at one of the kiosks in the store. If you are looking for a professional position with Wal-Mart, though, you should not fill out the Wal-Mart online job application. Instead you will be given another address where you can send your resume.

You then need to register with your own ID and password. Before you get to that point, though, there are several statements that you have to read. Each one has legal disclaimers and reminders, so make sure you read each part of the Wal-Mart online job application thoroughly. If you have any criminal history, make sure you pay close attention to the disclaimers prior to filling out the application, because the disclaimer tells you if you have to state anything about your criminal history.

After you read the disclaimers on the Wal-Mart online job application, you then need to create a user name, passwords, and tell the application where you want to work. Then the application asks to choose your stores and positions of choice. Like many other online applications, you will need to fill out personal information like your address and phone numbers. Also, you will be asked about your availability for work. Then you will need to provide two references.

The Wal-Mart online job application is fairly standard from that point. You will need to provide a listing of your education and work experience. Be sure that you are double-checking your information. Also, know what type of language to use on these applications. When you give your reason for leaving, make sure you state things in a politically correct manner. Never insult your previous employer, even if he or she was a total tyrant. Saying something negative about a previous employer will make the hiring manager wonder what you will say about them one day.

Most of the Wal-Mart online job application is the same as you have seen on other applications, but you still need to make sure you check for spelling and grammatical errors. Also, make sure you are honest on the application. Most employers, Wal-Mart included, are not necessarily forgiving for dishonesty.

Give yourself about 20 to 30 minutes to fill out the Wal-Mart online job application. Besides having to enter all of your job history, you will also need to answer a number of questions prior to submitting the application. Take your time and fill everything out accurately before you submit your final application. Then make sure you follow up with the hiring manager at the store if you do not hear back from them within a timely manner. Visit the Wal-Mart Career website for more information.

By: Charles Fuchs
